Summer Camp 2025
We are excited to be teaching summer camp workshops at the beautiful
Gordon School Campus in East Providence, about 10 minutes from Barrington. Please check out Summer at Gordon for all their great camp offerings for various ages!
Our camps all run in the morning Monday-Friday for rising 2nd-4th graders, but many other great camps are offered in the afternoon, and lunch is available.

Gary - Emerging Engineers
Test your designs with our roll, float and splat challenges! In this fun week of engineering, design a protective vehicle for our exciting Balloon Car Crash Challenge! Will your balloon survive? How much weight can spaghetti hold? Can you build a motorboat with Kleenex?
Annie - Flower Power Garden Art
Have you ever made natural dyes from your garden? Beets, onions, and rose petals, even dandelions can all be used to make naturally colored dyes! Make beautiful batiked flower pillows, design a miniature fairy garden, and create homemade plantable paper full of real flower seeds to plant and grow!
Gary - Robotown!
Welcome to the town of the future! Campers will start by designing and building their own posable robot character, then focus on designing a building for their robot to enjoy! We’ll assemble all the buildings to create an entire town where robots can interact, drive fantastic vehicles and maybe even experience a flying car or two!
Annie - Magical Gnome Village
Who lives in the magical gnome forest outside the castle? Fairies, Winifred the witch, Fiona the fortune teller, woodland animals, and all your gnomes! Each camper will receive a gnome stuffie to design gnome fashion (you can’t have too many hat accessories!), a gnome treehouse and fairy friends to live in the magical forest!
Gary - Woodshop Wachamacallits
This is a woodworking course with a bit of a twist! In WoodShop Whatchamacallits, you'll get hands-on experience building cool projects with your own creative spin. We’ll use woodworking tools, paints, adhesives and recycled parts to create, while emphasizing working safely and having a great time. Grab some goggles and join the fun!
Annie - Cartooning!
Design your own original cartoon characters and storyboards throughout the week. We’ll talk about drawing texture - hair, fur, scales, feathers, horns and sparkle. Using fabrics, paint, jewels, silk screening and clay, campers can choose a special character to create a unique cartoon puppet and bring their storyboard to life! Is your character a villain or a superhero? You choose!
Gary - Pinball Wizards!
Do you like arcade games? In Pinball Wizards, we’ll build really cool arcade-style games using motors, lights, and an assortment of parts. Our games will include flippers, bumpers, ramps, obstacles, with cool themes for each game. You’ll bring home a mini arcade of your own to share!
Annie - The Secret Mermaid Island
Create your own enchanted mermaid kingdom, and of course the mermaids to live in it! We’ll make 3D paper shells and have pearls, clay, plenty of bling, and maybe even a jellyfish or two to create a magical mermaid world under the sea!
Gary - Make-it-Fly!
Soar into the sky with planes, catapults, rockets, and balloons! Each camper will receive a small stuffed animal buddy to keep and we’ll design accessories, a flying costume, and a plane that will carry them along on our outdoor zip-line. Test your engineering skills launching rockets and see if your balloon survives our exciting water balloon drop challenge!
Annie - Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Flowers, pearls, clay, original prints, buttons, jewels, paper molds, found objects - how many things can you use to decorate your special hanging mirror? Each camper will receive a mirror to adorn and bling to create a unique piece of usable art!
